Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months experience in fresh production area
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • ability to complete all required job trainings and assessments within prescribed time
  • willingness to comply with drug free workplace policy
  • physical ability to perform bakery duties including standing for extended periods and handling bakery equipment
  • availability to work flexible schedules including holidays and special events

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 6 months experience in fresh production or bakery area
  • knowledge of cake decorating techniques preferred
  • experience working collaboratively in a team environment
  • ability to use digital tools and handheld technology
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
  • customer service orientation
  • ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

Job Duties

  • Collaborates with cross functional teams and educates associates on tools tasks and resources
  • plans bakery production ensuring quality and accuracy of decorative designs
  • follows recipe and measurement instructions for cake decoration
  • operates maintains and sanitizes bakery equipment
  • ensures compliance with food safety sanitation and cold chain standards
  • utilizes handheld technology to drive sales and manage production
  • manages inventory and controls waste
  • prepares for seasonal and special event bakery volumes
  • assists members with purchasing decisions and resolves concerns
  • acts as a brand ambassador by modeling high quality service
  • trains and mentors associates
  • adheres to company policies and ethics
  • completes assignments using data resources and collaboration
  • fosters a culture of respect inclusion and teamwork
  • maintains integrity and accountability
