Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement required
- Minimum one year commercial driving experience in last five years
- Clean driving record with two or fewer violations or accidents over three years
- Ability to comply with federal and state regulations
- Pass background check, including criminal history and employment verification
- Submit to drug screening
- Ability to work variable schedule including weekends and holidays
- Physically able to lift up to 50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs occasionally
- Capable of frequent entry and exit of vehicle and cargo areas
- English language proficiency required
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement
- Domiciled in the US and licensed in state of residence
- Ability to obtain or currently hold a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- Minimum of one year documented commercial vehicle driving experience within last five years
- Three years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Compliance with federal and state safety laws and regulations
- Proficiency in English language as required by federal law
Job Duties
- Driving late-model Penske trucks with safety and comfort features
- Loading and unloading grocery crates to stores
- Maintaining adherence to all federal and state laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Operating on varied schedules including weekends and holidays
- Participating in safety programs and maintaining company equipment
- Completing required reporting and communications
- Observing and complying with company attendance and performance policies
