Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Minimum 12 months commercial tractor/trailer driving experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Must be 21 years or older
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post-offer drug and road test
- Possess or obtain valid DOT Health Card
- Ability to lift and move freight cases using equipment during shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 12 or more months commercial tractor/trailer driving experience
- Valid CDL-A license with age minimum 21 years
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post-offer drug test and road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card or able to secure one
- Ability to hand-lift and use equipment such as two-wheeler and lift gate to move and stack product cases weighing between 10 and 90 pounds
Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to ensure compliance with company safety standards and report any issues
- Report all safety hazards and repair needs immediately
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count check of items and verify customer invoices
- Complete all required paperwork associated with freight accurately and legibly
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route schedules
- Unload products and transport items to designated customer storage areas
- Perform damage control checks on items and communicate with supervisor about order removals
- Verify delivery with customer and obtain proper signatures
- Collect payments where required
- Load customer returns and secure trailer doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns and complete related paperwork
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of tractor and loading dock areas
- Complete daily hours of service records and logs in compliance with DOT and company regulations
- Perform other related duties as assigned
