Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age requirement as per CDL licensing
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL with required endorsements
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
- Physical ability to lift and pull heavy equipment
- Proficiency in English to communicate and understand safety instructions
- Willingness to learn and undergo training for endorsements if not currently held
Job Qualifications
- Minimum Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements or willingness to obtain
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce
- Ability to lift and pull equipment weighing 50 to 75 pounds
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Must satisfy English Language Proficiency requirements per 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Job Duties
- Deliver fuel locally (home every night) in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain the delivery truck including reviewing maintenance records, performing inspections, and reporting vehicle conditions requiring attention
- Provide superior customer service
- Account for funds and inventory using a user-friendly handheld terminal
- Comply with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with customers and the management team
- Report any delivery issues or concerns promptly
