Job Requirements
- Must be 25 years of age per FMCSA regulations
- Must reside within 50 miles of terminal or work assignment
- Must have clean driver’s record
- Must be able to work variable hours Monday through Friday with occasional weekends
- Must have van driving experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Must comply with company policies and safety regulations
- Must be able to drive tractor-trailer within FMCSA requirements
- Must have professional mindset and demeanor
- Must be able to operate electronic logs and company tablets
- Must be able to communicate clearly with dispatch
- Must be capable of working under tight deadlines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years driving experience without accidents
- Possess valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Registered with FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Ability to pass a road test
- Ability to meet FMCSA English language requirements
- Stable employment history preferred
- Authorized to work in the United States
Job Duties
- Safely operate and maintain assigned trucks and loads
- Plan and track deliveries with dispatch
- Complete and submit required paperwork and reports timely
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Secure loads before trips
- Operate electronic logs and company tablets
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers
