Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum two years of progressive restaurant supervisory experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong management and supervisory skills
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, bending, overhead reaching, stretching
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings and late nights
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Two or more years of restaurant experience including progressive supervisory roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong management and supervisory capabilities
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Proficiency in Excel and Word with ability to learn other software
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions
Job Duties
- Develop and promote team members for advancement under your leadership
- Be proficient in every café position and work in those positions when needed
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new crew members to maintain appropriate staffing
- Drive the shift by setting daily goals and providing clear direction to crew members
- Maintain employee schedules and fill in as necessary
- Train and coach crew members and leaders to uphold brand standards
- Manage daily café operations including product preparation, customer service, and cleaning
- Ensure safe sanitation practices in food handling and preparation
- Conduct weekly food inventory and review inventory reports
- Manage ordering, inventory processes, and reconcile invoices
- Achieve sales goals, manage labor costs, and control inventory using Micros MyInventory
- Handle cash management including daily safe counts and cash drawer reconciliation
- Submit payroll hours accurately by the bi-weekly deadline
- Perform additional tasks required to operate the café
- Participate in weekly conference calls and training sessions
- Review and understand Profit and Loss statements
- Work varied schedule including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings
