Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Two or more years of restaurant experience including progressive supervisory experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills
  • Current valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Strong mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to read, understand and follow instructions

Job Duties

  • Develop people that can be promoted under your leadership
  • Be proficient in every position and willing to work in position when needed
  • Recruit, interview, hire and train new crew members
  • Drive shifts by providing daily goals and clear direction
  • Maintain employee schedule and fill in when needed
  • Train and coach crew members and crew leaders
  • Manage daily cafe functions including food preparation, quality control, customer service, and cleaning
  • Ensure safe sanitation practices in food handling
  • Conduct weekly food inventory and analyze reports
  • Manage ordering, inventory processes, and invoice reconciliation
  • Achieve sales goals, manage labor, and control inventory
  • Conduct daily cash management and resolve shortages
  • Correct and submit payroll hours by deadline
  • Perform additional tasks for cafe operation
  • Attend weekly conference calls, training, and area meetings
  • Review and understand profit and loss statements
  • Work varied schedule including weekends, holidays, late evenings, and early mornings
