Job Requirements
- Minimum one year recent experience as Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to communicate in English effectively
- Physical ability to move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, bend
- Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel
- Ability to perform fine motor skills and operate technical equipment
- Capacity to handle stress, work under pressure, and maintain detail orientation
Job Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from NBRC
- Current valid respiratory therapy license per state regulations
- Minimum one year recent experience as Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Preferred ACLS or PALS certification
- Proficiency in English
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to operate respiratory therapy equipment
Job Duties
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans
- Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders
- Perform diagnostic tests such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples
- Treat patients through methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications
- Set up and monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen delivery
- Observe and record patient status and progress
- Educate patients and family members on medication and equipment use
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Perform other duties as assigned within RRT scope
