Job Requirements
- Active AR or compact RN license with license in hand
- minimum two years of recent labor and delivery experience
- current certifications valid through first 30 days of assignment
- valid driver’s license
- US Social Security Number
- no gaps in work history over 90 days in past 12 months
- residence more than 50 miles from facility
- no employment as permanent staff at CHS facility in past two years
- RTO requests less than one week
- ability to work 12-hour day shifts
Job Qualifications
- Registered nurse with active AR or compact RN license
- minimum two years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience
- current certifications including BLS and NICU or obstetric care certification
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work 12-hour day shifts
- valid driver’s license
- US Social Security Number
Job Duties
- Provide high-quality labor and delivery nursing care
- monitor fetal heart rates and labor progress
- assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- educate and support patients and families
- maintain accurate patient records
- collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols
