Job Requirements
- Active CA RN license
- Minimum 2 years L&D nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications
- Cerner EMR experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Two professional references including a recent supervisor and peer or supervisor from last 3 years
- No direct employment with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health in past year
- Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
- Ability to float between Labor and Delivery and Postpartum units
Job Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications
- Experience with Cerner PowerChart Maternity EMR preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Effective communication skills including Mandarin language considerations
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass Relias Dysrhythmia exam and sterile technique skills test
Job Duties
- Provide evidence-based nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns
- Monitor fetal heart rates using Cerner Fetal Links and advanced fetal monitoring technology
- Manage patient care in a Level 2 NICU setting with Stanford nurse collaboration
- Float to Postpartum unit as required in rotation
- Participate in triage and non-stress testing (NST) duties
- Collaborate with anesthesia and respiratory therapy teams for patient support
- Adhere to patient ratios and safety protocols according to ACOG and California standards
