Job Requirements
- Active AZ or compact RN license
- minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience
- current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- hands-on C-section experience
- computer charting skills
- ability to pass Relias Dysrhythmia exam
- two professional references
- valid driver’s license
- reside at least 50 miles from facility
Job Qualifications
- Active AZ or compact RN license
- minimum 2 years of labor and delivery RN experience
- current BLS certification
- current ACLS certification
- current NRP certification
- hands-on C-section experience
- computer charting experience
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- ability to pass Relias Dysrhythmia exam with score of 80% or higher
- professional references from recent supervisors and peers
Job Duties
- Provide acute care in a labor and delivery unit
- monitor and assist with labor and delivery processes including C-section support
- chart patient care and observations using Cerner EMR
- titrate Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate as per protocol
- float to Mother-Baby/Postpartum or sister facility as needed
- follow AWHONN guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios
- participate in floor-specific orientation and simulation training
