Job Requirements

  • Active RN license (VA or Compact)
  • Minimum 2 years labor and delivery RN experience
  • Epic EMR experience
  • Two professional references
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid Social Security card
  • Ability to work 3x12 hour day shifts
  • Availability starting March 16, 2026
  • Willingness to complete a 13-week contract

Job Qualifications

  • Active RN license in Virginia or compact state
  • Minimum 2 years experience in labor and delivery nursing
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR system
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
  • Two professional references

Job Duties

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients
  • Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs closely throughout labor
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to manage labor progression and delivery
  • Document patient information accurately using Epic EMR system
  • Respond quickly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
  • Educate and support patients and families during labor and delivery
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards
