Job Requirements
- Completion of CDL truck driving school
- Minimum 1 year of experience in route delivery
- Minimum 1 year of experience in driving straight truck
- Basic computer skills
- Valid commercial driver s license (CDL), class A or class B
- Clean driving record
- Must pass physical exam

Job Duties
- Efficiently deliver product to company satellite locations, rotate and count inventory if necessary, process paperwork accurately, follow driver safety rules and provide professional customer service
- Run routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times
- Handle company equipment properly, follow written driver safety rules and perform pre-trip inspection
- Ensure routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes or tire rotations are performed in a timely manner on the delivery vehicles
- Report accidents and injuries and any damage to equipment immediately
- Exercise caution in treacherous circumstances and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors and highway authorities
- Inspect trailers before and after loading, paying attention to status of air lines and jack positions and adjusting them as necessary
- Visit weigh stations before and after packing to ensure loads meet state safety regulations, making alterations to loads when required by law
