Job Requirements
- Commercial driver’s license, Class A
- Minimum 18 months driving experience
- Current medical examination card
- Ability to work flexible schedules including shift work, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a variety of environments
- Ability to work in a team environment with cooler, other transport drivers, and depot warehouse workers
- Ability to safely drive in all weather conditions
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good math skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently
- Maintains good personal appearance
- Responsible and reliable
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Reads work orders/load sheets or follows oral instructions to ascertain that all product is on the truck and delivered in a safe and timely manner
- Loads and unloads products from delivery truck using hand trucks and pallet jacks on some routes
- Maintains knowledge of all products both current and new
- Always maintains the correct temperature of truck/trailer
- Observes all driving laws and practices safe and defensive driving
- Ensures load is secure before moving
- Operates handheld route accounting computer and printer assigned to each driver
- Keeps delivery truck clear of clutter and cleans up spills
- Reports vehicle and safety concerns to appropriate personnel
- Transfers inner office mail and picks up freight when applicable
- Mounts tire chains on specified tires as needed
- Confirms load is of legal weight
- Performs other duties as assigned
