Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Compliance with Department of Transportation requirements
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Good time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple challenges
- Physical ability to perform job functions with or without accommodations
Job Qualifications

- At least 2 years of driving experience
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Good time management abilities
- Ability to handle multiple challenges
- Physical capability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Experience in waste management, environmental services, energy, or transportation industries is a plus
- Freight delivery driving experience is advantageous
Job Duties
- Drive daily to specified landfills depending on weather conditions
- Properly secure cargo and maneuver vehicle around tight corners and pedestrian traffic
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment and complete required forms
- Tarp trailer manually to prevent trash from flying out
- Climb and enter the trailer to sweep out remaining trash residue after dumping
- Shovel snow and apply chains on truck during winter road conditions
- Change tires on truck and trailer as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean working vehicle
- Report unsafe situations to supervisor
- Perform other assigned duties
- Work overtime as required
