Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence
  • Food Handler Permit
  • knowledge of kitchen health and safety rules
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
  • great listening and multi-tasking skills
  • strong organizational skills
  • must be able to travel to Snowbird Resort

Job Duties

  • Maintain standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and professional appearance at all times
  • adhere strictly to food quality, safety, preparation, handling and nutrition guidelines
  • promote and practice safe working habits throughout the kitchen environment
  • actively participate in on-going employee training
  • report to the Chef at the beginning of each shift to receive station assignments and updates
  • prepare all items for assigned station and assist other stations as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • complete all opening, closing, and side duties as assigned before and after each shift
  • respond quickly and effectively to any issues or challenges that arise during service
  • maintain clear and respectful communication with the Chef, Sous Chef and fellow kitchen staff to support a collaborative team environment
