Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- one year of experience in laundry operations or on-the-job training
- ability to operate laundry machinery
- basic computer command skills
- good hand-eye coordination
- verbal communication skills
- physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- physical ability to push and pull carts
- ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
Job Qualifications

- good hand-eye coordination and ability to communicate verbally
- physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, push/pull heavy carts, and stand/walk for prolonged periods
Job Duties
- Operate laundry equipment safely, including washers, dryers, ironers, and folding machines
- pre-sort soiled linens and process clean linens for distribution
- inspect linens for tears and stains
- repair surgical linens as needed
- prepare surgical packs and uniforms for hospital personnel
- restock linen carts to maintain par levels
- maintain cleanliness and safety in the laundry area
- transport linens and carts to designated locations
- adhere to departmental safety standards and report hazards promptly
