ChristianaCare is a comprehensive, nonprofit health system headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, dedicated to enhancing health outcomes, improving access to high-quality care, and reducing healthcare costs.

Serving Delaware and parts of Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, ChristianaCare operates a network of facilities, including three hospitals, outpatient centers, and specialized institutes.

Hospitals and Specialized Centers

The flagship facility, Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware, is a 1,039-bed academic medical center and the state's only Level I trauma center. It houses Delaware's only Level III neonatal intensive care unit and the largest maternity center, delivering over 7,100 newborns annually.

The hospital also features the Center for Heart & Vascular Health and the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute.

The Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute in Newark offers comprehensive cancer care, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, and surgical oncology services.

Innovative Programs

The Advanced Care at Home program delivers skilled nursing services directly to patients' homes, aiming to improve recovery outcomes and reduce costs.

Recent Expansions

In August 2025, ChristianaCare expanded its services in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, by introducing 15 new services across five locations.
