Job Requirements

  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license with a good motor vehicle record
  • foodservice, culinary, restaurant management or hospitality experience preferred
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • ability to build relationships and cold call
  • exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • competitive spirit with goal orientation
  • strong problem solving, organization and negotiation capabilities
  • teamwork orientation
  • tech-savviness with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Be the customer champion by owning and nurturing customer relationships in a team-based selling model
  • educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies
  • drive sales success by increasing case growth and acquiring new business through tailored sales presentations
  • collaborate with specialists, marketing, supply chain and customer service to ensure seamless product delivery
  • develop new business utilizing market intelligence, business directories, existing client leads, networking and trade shows
  • manage order delivery schedules and resolve delivery issues
  • maintain knowledge of market conditions, product innovations and competitor activities
  • conduct regular site visits and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
