Job Requirements

  • associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • six months to one year related experience and/or training
  • ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
  • physical ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • availability to work 2pm to 10:30pm shift
  • willingness to work in wet, humid, noisy, and potentially hazardous environments

Job Qualifications

  • ability to perform essential job duties fully
  • knowledge of cleaning procedures and standards
  • leadership and staff management skills
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to handle physical and environmental job demands

Job Duties

  • supervising cleaning staff and coordinating daily activities
  • interviewing, hiring, and training employees
  • planning and preparing employee work schedules
  • inspecting work to ensure compliance with standards
  • addressing complaints and resolving issues related to service and equipment
  • evaluating facility conditions to determine cleaning requirements
  • coordinating with other departments for timely service delivery
  • maintaining and checking cleaning equipment
  • instructing staff on policies, procedures, and equipment use
  • performing cleaning duties as needed
