Job Requirements
- Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
- TWIC card preferred
- operate material handling equipment, including forklift, order picker, pallet jack, and other equipment as required
- successfully pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
- pass medical requirements for Class A CDL driver
- read, write, and understand the English language
- present a professional image to our customers through personal appearance and overall branch cleanliness
- knowledge and or experience with agricultural operations (preferred)
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- professional and pleasant disposition, able to give all clients a positive customer service experience
- dependable, hardworking, and an effective communicator
- excellent time-management and organizational skills required
- contribute to a team approach by being versatile, flexible, and having a positive outlook in interactions with co-workers and customers
- willing to work extended hours during peak season
Job Duties
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before departing to deliver products
- ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements
- load and or assist in loading products onto trucks according to specifications
- deliver orders to customer in a safe, timely, accurate, and appropriate manner
- maintain ongoing communication with Delivery Manager
- review deliveries to ensure products meet customer needs
- unload deliveries at designated location
- obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
- follow all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- follow all company and state enforced safety requirements for loading and unloading product
- other duties may be assigned as needed
