Job Requirements
- One to more than three years of culinary experience or demonstrated potential
- Possession or ability to obtain valid local and/or state food handling permits
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Physical ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, frequently bend, reach, stretch, perform repetitive manual tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences
- Willingness to follow safety, hygiene, and equipment use protocols
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare all ingredients and food products to complete prep lists and maintain minimum and optimal inventory levels
- Use various cooking methods such as washing, chopping, cutting, roasting, sautéing, frying to quickly and accurately create sushi menu items according to JOEY recipes
- Maintain clean, hygienic, and safe preparation and cooking areas
- Clean, organize, and maintain refrigerators, refrigerated drawers, ovens, preparation and dry storage areas
- Perform opening, closing, and other tasks to enable team success and support kitchen team as needed
- Follow all instructions and guidelines for safe use of kitchen equipment and cleaning products
- Report any equipment or maintenance failure immediately to management
- Follow all food service and handling safety precautions and procedures
