  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and reservation/order systems
  • physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in fast-paced environments
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in upscale sushi preparation and high-volume operations
  • proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire culinary teams
  • exceptional knife skills and deep knowledge of sushi techniques and HACCP standards
  • high level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to guest satisfaction
  • comfortable with Microsoft Office and reservation/order systems
  • able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Craft exceptional sushi with attention to detail, flavor, and aesthetics
  • lead the sushi station's setup, breakdown, and daily operations ensuring a seamless guest experience
  • champion food safety by following HACCP guidelines and proper handling, storage, and sanitation
  • inspire and mentor team members to uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism
  • collaborate with leadership including the Executive Chef to manage staff and implement company policies
  • stay current with culinary trends and introduce innovative ideas to enhance sushi offerings and dining experience
