Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of ServSafe or approved food safety course within 90 days
  • Minimum three years experience in food service
  • Valid Florida Driver's License may be required
  • Ability to comply with school district policies
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in food service for at least three years
  • Knowledge of food service management principles
  • School Nutrition Association certification preferred
  • Ability to manage staff and operations effectively

  • Manage daily food service operations at the school center
  • Ensure compliance with program policies and food safety regulations
  • Oversee staff training and supervision in food service tasks
  • Maintain inventory control and ordering supplies
  • Implement operational efficiencies to optimize food service delivery
  • Coordinate with administrative staff to support nutrition programs
  • Monitor sanitation and safety standards consistently
