Job Duties
- fulfills deliveries of all medical supplies and other HNL items as needed
- communicates regularly with management to convey concerns and suggestions
- drives responsibly and manages deliveries per department protocols
- maintains reports and logs as required
- ensures the punctual delivery of medical and other supplies following specific transport requirements
- confirms proper documentation on manifests
- obtains approval for transport of biohazard materials or dry ice
- checks specific departments for special deliveries
- packs items carefully and securely into vehicle
- verifies all orders include requested items
- communicates missing items prior to departure
- parks in designated areas avoiding blocking access
- unloads and transports items carefully using hand trucks
- secures delivery verification from staff
- logs delivery information and accurately counts inventory
- performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- reports any vehicle concerns promptly
- maintains vehicle cleanliness
- communicates delivery-related concerns
- drives courteously, safely, and lawfully following HNL protocols
- ensures only authorized personnel use the vehicle
- handles equipment according to HNL policies
- adapts work schedule as needed during holidays or weather events
- follows predetermined routes while managing adjustments
- assists logistics and material management during downtime
- dresses according to dress code and wears ID badge
- complies with HIPAA regulations and all relevant policies
