Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school degree or GED
- Relevant experience working in a licensed child care center, public school, or commercial kitchen
- Food service or food handler permit or license according to state or local regulations
- Must pass state and company background checks
- Comply with immunizations and health screenings
- Ability to work in person at early education centers
- Must adhere to Bright Horizons policies and regulatory requirements
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for children and staff
- Keep an accurate inventory of supplies and place orders as needed
- Manage all aspects of prepping and preparing meals
- Clean kitchen and comply with sanitation requirements
- Support multiple center locations as a substitute cook
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during food preparation
- Maintain positive communication with staff regarding menu needs and food service
