Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • must hold a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
  • must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • must have a positive attitude
  • must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • preference given to candidates 21 years or older
  • previous radio or media experience preferred
  • interest in radio preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in radio, media, customer service, or event promotion preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • capacity to think on one’s feet and adapt to changing situations
  • interest in radio or broadcasting is a plus
  • strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Setting up station events including raising tents, plugging in sound systems, and putting up signage and banners
  • managing events while in progress by interacting with listeners, leading games and prize wheels, and speaking on the microphone or PA system
  • communicating effectively with listeners, employees, management, and clients at events
  • assisting in the execution of various station and company events such as concerts, live broadcasts, and internal events
  • maintaining a positive attitude and high energy to enhance event experiences
  • adapting to fast-paced environments and taking direction from the Street Team Manager
  • performing other duties as assigned
