Job Requirements
- Agility to bend to floor-level shelves and reach to upper shelves with use of stool or ladder when necessary
- Stamina to stand and walk for entire work shift
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds of merchandise
- Able to handle cash charge transactions and core/part returns appropriately
- Maintain distribution log or tracking system for deliveries and pickups
- Inspect, protect and maintain company assets including vehicles and merchandise
- Clear speaking and attentive listening skills
- Ability to drive throughout the metropolitan area using maps and directions
- Flexible with schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Valid driver’s license
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Proven ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle
- Strong communication skills both verbal and listening
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Customer service experience preferred
- Familiarity with inventory tracking or distribution logs is a plus
- Ability to handle cash and transaction processes correctly
Job Duties
- Delivering parts to customers with a passion for developing relationships with customers
- Picks up parts from vendors
- ensures stock room parts are accurately stocked and maintains/checks inventory
- Consistently focused on safety while driving and delivering parts
- Serves as a NAPA brand ambassador during deliveries
- Builds long-term relationships with customers
- Maintains store delivery truck through adherence to safety checklists, cleaning, and basic maintenance such as checking tire pressure
- Performs other duties as needed
