High school degree or GED preferred
ability to stand for extended periods
ability to lift and carry heavy items
reliable and punctual
attention to detail
ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

High school degree or GED preferred
experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
basic knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
good communication skills
ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Job Duties

Loads and empties dish machine
washes pots, pans, cooking utensils and equipment by hand
assists kitchen staff as needed
removes waste, empties and cleans garbage receptacles
removes recyclable materials and places in appropriate areas
cleans the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, washing kitchen walls, floors and floor mats
performs closing duties in accordance to standard
stocks all dishware and glassware as cleaned
follows MSDS standards, safety, and sanitation procedures
understands and actively participates in environmental, health and safety responsibilities
performs other duties as assigned
