Job Requirements
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

- Basic computer skills including point of sale and reservation management systems
- Ability to multitask and manage customer waitlists accurately
- Physical ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds occasionally
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Availability to work on Saturdays and during winter breaks if a student
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment

Job Duties
- Greets and seats guests
- presents menus to guests
- informs them of special catch and soups
- Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction
- Always strives to exceed guests' expectations
- Takes names on a waiting list
- Runs the floor plan board
- Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables
- Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available
- Responsible for distribution of parking vouchers and monitoring coat check
- Cleans and organizes the host closet
- Cleans, organizes and stocks menus at host area
- Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant
- Answers phone and takes orders pertaining to room service
- Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience
- Maintains restrooms throughout shift
- Sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently
- Keeps windows and wine wall clean
- Maintains and updates the information wall
- Performs other duties as directed
