Job Requirements
- Associate degree or culinary certificate
- Experience in culinary or kitchen management
- Ability to manage high volume foodservice operations
- Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office
- Willingness to participate in patient satisfaction programs
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- A.O.S. degree in culinary arts or culinary certificate
- Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
- Experience in catering
- Knowledge of high volume, complex foodservice operations
- Familiarity with institutional and batch cooking
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
Job Duties
- Assist Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures
- Assist Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- Produce and execute catering events
- Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary team
- Supervise hourly associates and kitchen staff
- Develop daily menu items and oversee their preparation and garnishment
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety standards
