Job Requirements
- 2-3+ years experience in relevant roles
- Travel availability up to 20% including international
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficiency with event technology tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lead small teams and maintain budget and schedules
- U.S. work authorization
- Ability to work remotely within the United States
Job Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of experience in event technology coordination or similar role
- Experience with corporate event technology tools such as Rainfocus, Stova, Swoogo, Bizzabo, Cvent, Eventbase, Airtable
- Proven success managing projects from concept to execution
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Skilled at prioritizing multiple projects under pressure
- Adaptable to change and collaborative in team environments
- Self-motivated and resourceful
- Comfortable with multiple digital tools suites
- Solid math skills for data analysis and budget management
- Ability to interpret instructions and solve complex problems
Job Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of attendee-facing event technology projects
- Work as lead on small-to-medium sized events and support on large programs
- Understand all workstreams supported by Opus Event Technology & Registration and partner with those teams
- Independently manage assigned tasks on multiple concurrent projects
- Act as primary point of contact for clients, internal stakeholders, and vendors
- Demonstrate proficiency in digital platforms and tools and consult clients on best practices
- Develop and drive workback schedules
- Manage documentation and content for platform builds and translate business objectives into technical specifications
- Participate in team and client meetings and document outcomes
- Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Deliver projects within time and budgetary requirements
- Oversee onsite deployments including badge pick-up and session scanning
- Contribute to internal resources and recommend process improvements
- Fill staffing assignments in project management, registration, housing, and customer service as needed
