  • Three years of verifiable professional cooking experience in Gilaki or Northern Iranian cuisine
  • High school diploma
  • Proficiency in Farsi language
  • Ability to work full-time
  • Knowledge of traditional cooking techniques including clay pot cooking, steaming, and wood fire grilling
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Commitment to maintaining authenticity in regional Persian cuisine

Job Duties

  • Prepare traditional Gilaki dishes such as Mirza Ghasemi, Baghala Ghatogh, Fesenjan with duck, Torshi Tareh, and smoked fish
  • Utilize traditional cooking techniques including clay pot cooking, steaming over rice, and wood fire grilling
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff in specialized preparation methods
  • Collaborate with management to develop and enhance menu offerings
  • Ensure quality control and consistency of all dishes served
  • Manage kitchen operations during assigned shifts
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
