Job Requirements

  • proven taiwanese/chinese culinary experience
  • minimum 2 years of experience in high-volume institutional catering or similar environment
  • physically capable of lifting and pushing 50+ lbs
  • standing, bending, and moving intermittently during 8+ hour shifts
  • flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a dynamic kitchen setting

Job Qualifications

  • culinary degree or professional cooking certification preferred
  • exceptional knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
  • ability to read, write, and understand English for recipe compliance and safety protocols
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • comprehensive understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP compliance

Job Duties

  • prepare complete dishes from scratch across a wide variety of cuisines, ensuring authenticity and quality
  • assemble and plate dishes with a high level of consistency, adhering to customer specifications and presentation standards
  • maintain efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • uphold strict food safety and HACCP standards throughout all stages of food preparation
