Job Requirements
- proven taiwanese/chinese culinary experience
- minimum 2 years of experience in high-volume institutional catering or similar environment
- physically capable of lifting and pushing 50+ lbs
- standing, bending, and moving intermittently during 8+ hour shifts
- flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a dynamic kitchen setting
Job Qualifications
- culinary degree or professional cooking certification preferred
- exceptional knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
- ability to read, write, and understand English for recipe compliance and safety protocols
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- comprehensive understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP compliance
Job Duties
- prepare complete dishes from scratch across a wide variety of cuisines, ensuring authenticity and quality
- assemble and plate dishes with a high level of consistency, adhering to customer specifications and presentation standards
- maintain efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- uphold strict food safety and HACCP standards throughout all stages of food preparation
