Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in recruitment, interviewing, or evaluator position
  • understanding of how to serve as a liaison with other departments

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience with SuccessFactors or other large enterprise ATS systems
  • knowledge of Sabre, Excel, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Smartsheet
  • proven experience in conducting high-volume group interviews or recruitment hiring events
  • previous experience as a flight attendant or flight attendant recruiter
  • excellent teamwork skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations
  • operates with the highest integrity, tackles problems with ingenuity, constantly pursues excellence, and exercises kindness in all interactions
  • ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • ability to successfully determine if candidate meets job requirements
  • ability to deal effectively with a diverse group of individuals

  • ability to work with minimal supervision
  • maintain a neat, professional appearance
  • ability to make hiring decisions based on collective observations

Job Duties

  • Facilitate on-demand video interview evaluations by reviewing and scoring candidate responses using established criteria and interview guides
  • Lead in-person group interview sessions for a high volume of applicants, ensuring a structured, professional, and positive experience for all candidates
  • Ensure candidates are prepared and informed about the interview process and next steps
  • Manage the interview check-in process, including verifying candidate documents and interview confirmations
  • Ensure candidates meet or exceed the qualifications of the job description
  • Evaluate candidates against established criteria, completing scorecards and interview guides promptly
  • Move and status candidates through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) following interviews
  • Collaborate with other evaluators to ensure consistent and fair candidate assessment
  • Maintain thorough records of interview outcomes and candidate interactions
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including organizing interview documents and preparing interview spaces
  • Ensure clear and timely communication with candidates, team members, and stakeholders
  • Ensure all group interview procedures follow company guidelines and best practices, including compliance with legal and ethical hiring standards
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, exemplifying the image and standards of American Airlines
  • Develop and update interview training materials as required and conduct training sessions for new interviewers as needed
  • Adjust interview strategies as needed to align with volumes of candidates and shifting recruitment needs
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
