Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Submit to a pre-employment drug screen
- Hold a valid Class C/Standard Operator Driver License
- Have sufficient English language skills to communicate with the public and understand highway signs
- Meet physical demands including lifting items up to 100 pounds
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand traffic signs
- Valid Class C/Standard Operator Driver License
- Previous experience in delivery driving or customer service preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical ability to handle loads up to 100 pounds
- Dependable and safety-conscious work ethic, willingness to adhere to DOT standards
Job Duties
- Safely operate a Class C vehicle to deliver various food and supply products to customer locations
- Manually unload and deliver products such as meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by understanding their needs and operations
- Follow assigned route schedules efficiently to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate any delivery issues or delays
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company policies regarding vehicle operation and safety
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on the delivery truck
