Job Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to travel as required
- Must meet requirements to operate a State of Wisconsin Fleet vehicle
- Subject to criminal background check prior to appointment
- Experience with event planning and marketing
- Proficiency in using web content management systems
- Demonstrated fundraising experience
Job Qualifications
- Experience in event planning and coordination
- Skilled in creating print and digital marketing materials
- Familiarity with web content management systems such as WordPress or Microsoft SharePoint
- Knowledge of fundraising techniques including organizing events and managing donor relationships
- Experience working with cultural organizations such as museums, libraries, theaters, or symphonies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Plan special events related to Wisconsin America 250 Commission activities
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns for events and programs
- Create print and digital marketing materials
- Coordinate fundraising efforts including managing campaigns and soliciting donations
- Collaborate with A250WI Commission committees and workgroups
- Manage web content using platforms like WordPress or SharePoint
- Organize and promote community engagement activities
