Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • 2 to 3 years field experience as EMT
  • Prior EMS supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current and valid EMT certification
  • State-approved CPR certification
  • BLS card
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient understanding of county/state geography, protocols, procedures, and policies
  • Knowledge of CrowdRx policies, procedures, and health and safety manual

Job Duties

  • Make recommendations to the Clinical Education Manager to improve training and quality assurance programs
  • Assist in development and updating of site and emergency action plans
  • Provide exemplary patient care and customer service as a team leader
  • Identify and remediate staff not meeting performance standards
  • Conduct field training, education, evaluation, and remediation of employees
  • Act as an educational resource for field employees and management
  • Facilitate smooth transition and support for new and continuing employees
  • Identify risk components and take appropriate action
  • Provide detailed paperwork to management
  • Assess call situations and determine appropriate protocol
  • Communicate site needs and supply requests to management
  • Interface with internal and external partners for operations
  • Act as a team leader and manage scenes as needed
  • Drive on-duty vehicle as required
  • Serve as site or venue lead when assigned
  • Coach and educate partners on new information
  • Enforce company policies and participate in security training
  • Mentor employees and conduct performance evaluations
  • Champion affirmative action in staffing and promotion
