Job Requirements

  • 3-5+ years in a supervisory experience or Sous Chef
  • High volume background
  • Impeccable communication skills
  • Restaurant management knowledge
  • Thorough knowledge of menu implementation with stunning presentation ideas
  • Catering experience
  • Culinary degree strongly preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen (Sous Chef or similar leadership role preferred)
  • Experience in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality dining is a plus
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Culinary training or certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations and staff supervision
  • Prepare and cook meals following planned menus and dietary guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist with menu planning, ordering, and inventory management
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff
  • Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation of meals
  • Support special events and community dining programs
  • Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are properly maintained
