Job Requirements
- 3-5+ years in a supervisory experience or Sous Chef
- High volume background
- Impeccable communication skills
- Restaurant management knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of menu implementation with stunning presentation ideas
- Catering experience
- Culinary degree strongly preferred
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen (Sous Chef or similar leadership role preferred)
- Experience in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality dining is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Culinary training or certification preferred
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations and staff supervision
- Prepare and cook meals following planned menus and dietary guidelines
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with menu planning, ordering, and inventory management
- Supervise and train kitchen staff
- Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation of meals
- Support special events and community dining programs
- Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are properly maintained
