Job Requirements

  • culinary arts degree preferred
  • minimum 3 years culinary experience in high-volume food service or restaurant setting
  • food service training with HACCP knowledge
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • computer literacy with Google Docs and Microsoft Office
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Manager ServSafe certification or ability to obtain post-hire
  • ability to stand for 8 hours daily
  • ability to lift 25 pounds
  • adherence to dress code
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines during peak periods

Job Qualifications

  • culinary arts degree preferred
  • 3+ years of culinary experience in a similar volume food service or restaurant establishment
  • food service training with experience in food preparation techniques according to HACCP processes and recommendations
  • understanding of restaurant merchandising and marketing for service preparation and presentation
  • effective communication and presentation skills for customers, clients, and employees
  • general computer skills including working knowledge of Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
  • manager ServSafe certified or ability to be certified immediately after hire

Job Duties

  • oversee the purchasing, preparation, and execution of high-quality, cost-effective food service
  • hire, train, and schedule staff
  • participate in corporate training and staff development programs
  • prepare and maintain accurate and timely accounting and financial records within the operating budget
  • maintain sanitary and safe operations in accordance with federal, state, and local health regulations including HACCP guidelines
  • represent the company in a courteous and friendly manner
  • engage with customers, listen to feedback, and make changes to meet client and customer needs
