Job Requirements

  • Experience in fine dining and volume kitchen environments
  • Ability to lead and execute culinary operations efficiently
  • Skilled in managing kitchen staff and fostering a positive work environment
  • Familiarity with inventory management and food cost control
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
  • Strong attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a sous chef in high-volume and upscale dining establishments
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of food quality
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and manage culinary staff
  • Ensure the highest quality of food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain inventory control and manage food costs
  • Implement and uphold food safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with executive chefs on menu planning and development
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain consistency and excellence
  • Participate in recruitment and performance evaluations of kitchen personnel
