Job Requirements

  • Culinary school graduate preferred
  • Two years experience in supervisory kitchen position required
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with members, employees, and guests
  • Bilingual communication in English and Spanish preferred
  • Passion for exceeding guest expectations
  • Commitment to excellence in food quality and service
  • Ability to work in extreme heat and stand for long periods
  • Capability to lift 20 pounds overhead
  • Willingness to work in tight spaces and handle secondary smoke from grilling

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary school graduate preferred
  • Minimum two years experience in a supervisory kitchen position
  • Ability to communicate bilingually in English and Spanish preferred
  • Strong team player with diplomatic skills
  • Demonstrated passion for exceeding guest expectations and commitment to quality service

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations including ordering, scheduling, sanitation, maintenance, employee development, and performance reviews
  • Responsible for proper food preparation, maintaining product excellence, and managing profit and labor costs
  • Organize and support the service of a la carte menus, employee meals, and private dining
  • Ensure the quality and variety of all food served during shifts
  • Hire, train, supervise, and terminate kitchen staff as needed
  • Enhance team knowledge and spirit among kitchen personnel
  • Implement sanitation standards and cleaning schedules established by the Executive Chef
