Job Requirements
- Culinary school graduate preferred
- Two years experience in supervisory kitchen position required
- Ability to foster positive relationships with members, employees, and guests
- Bilingual communication in English and Spanish preferred
- Passion for exceeding guest expectations
- Commitment to excellence in food quality and service
- Ability to work in extreme heat and stand for long periods
- Capability to lift 20 pounds overhead
- Willingness to work in tight spaces and handle secondary smoke from grilling
Job Qualifications
- Culinary school graduate preferred
- Minimum two years experience in a supervisory kitchen position
- Ability to communicate bilingually in English and Spanish preferred
- Strong team player with diplomatic skills
- Demonstrated passion for exceeding guest expectations and commitment to quality service
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations including ordering, scheduling, sanitation, maintenance, employee development, and performance reviews
- Responsible for proper food preparation, maintaining product excellence, and managing profit and labor costs
- Organize and support the service of a la carte menus, employee meals, and private dining
- Ensure the quality and variety of all food served during shifts
- Hire, train, supervise, and terminate kitchen staff as needed
- Enhance team knowledge and spirit among kitchen personnel
- Implement sanitation standards and cleaning schedules established by the Executive Chef
