Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to comprehend verbal and written recipes and instructions
  • previous culinary experience preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capability to lift and move food and containers up to own height
  • ability to follow health safety and hygiene regulations
  • adherence to covid-19 workplace safety protocols
  • must have positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • experience in cooking and food preparation
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • background in banquet or catering production preferred
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to supervise and train kitchen staff
  • positive and can-do attitude

Job Duties

  • produce cook and prepare soups sauces salads entrees and catering items
  • set up stations prior to service with appropriate equipment and food
  • assist management in purchasing inventory control and training
  • maintain a clean and safe work area following health safety and food handling regulations
  • provide exemplary customer service in a courteous and friendly manner
  • receive unpack unwrap date rotate and stow deliveries
  • supervise kitchen aspects including staff and production
