Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in a professional kitchen, preferably seafood-focused
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- dependable and organized
- strong teamwork and leadership abilities
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a sous chef or strong lead line chef
- skilled in seafood preparation and general kitchen operations
- ability to train and mentor staff
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- able to work efficiently under pressure
- excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- Lead the kitchen during prep and service, ensuring quality and consistency
- support day-to-day operations including ordering, inventory, scheduling, and staff supervision
- train and mentor line cooks and prep team members
- help develop daily specials and seasonal menu items
- maintain strong communication between FOH and BOH
- ensure food safety, cleanliness, and organization are always top priority
