Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in a professional kitchen, preferably seafood-focused
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • dependable and organized
  • strong teamwork and leadership abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a sous chef or strong lead line chef
  • skilled in seafood preparation and general kitchen operations
  • ability to train and mentor staff
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • able to work efficiently under pressure
  • excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Lead the kitchen during prep and service, ensuring quality and consistency
  • support day-to-day operations including ordering, inventory, scheduling, and staff supervision
  • train and mentor line cooks and prep team members
  • help develop daily specials and seasonal menu items
  • maintain strong communication between FOH and BOH
  • ensure food safety, cleanliness, and organization are always top priority
