Job Requirements
- Food and beverage service worker permit where applicable
- Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
- Ability to communicate effectively with public and other team members
- Ability to perform physical demands including lifting up to 100 pounds
- Availability to work in varying temperature and noise conditions
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
- Must complete full application with resume
Job Qualifications
- Communication skills for training and safety purposes
- Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor
- Minimum 3 years of previous line experience preferred
- Preferably experience in high volume and fine dining
- Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
- Ability to perform basic and intermediate cooking skills
- Ability to work multiple stations in the kitchen
- Ability to communicate effectively with public and team members
Job Duties
- Supervise activities of assigned staff, communicate goals, and assign/schedule work
- Communicate and enforce policies and procedures
- Recommend and initiate disciplinary or staffing actions according to company policies
- Assist with employee selection, training, development, and performance coaching
- Assist in developing new menu concepts and cost out new menu items
- Oversee food preparation methods, portion sizes, and timeliness
- Inspect cleanliness of kitchen stations and ensure compliance with sanitation and health regulations
- Review upcoming menus and complete requisitions for food and supplies
- Maintain waste control and minimize food usage
- Assist in determining minimum and maximum stock levels
- Assist with cooking and food preparation
- Maintain security and proper storage of food, beverage products, kitchen inventory and equipment
- Promote teamwork and quality service through coordination with other departments
- Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction
- Liaise with vendors and regulatory agencies
- Serve as Manager on Duty when required
- Deliver passionate and engaging service to guests according to the GUEST model
