Job Duties
- Train associates in kitchen duties including plate presentation and display work
- Write schedules, evaluate and direct kitchen personnel
- Communicate openly with management and associates
- Present disciplinary action as needed
- Provide tools and equipment for associates
- Take immediate action on kitchen problems
- Participate in department and kitchen meetings
- Maintain culinary documentation like recipe cards and roast meat charts
- Ensure high-quality food preparation and timely delivery to outlets
- Supervise kitchen staff and sanitation associates in absence of Executive Chef
- Submit payroll hours to Accounting Department timely
