Job Requirements

  • 2-4 years of culinary experience
  • Ability to train and manage kitchen associates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of evaluating and directing personnel
  • Proficient in maintaining kitchen records and documentation

  • Willingness to participate in meetings and inventory management

Job Duties

  • Train associates in kitchen duties including plate presentation and display work
  • Write schedules, evaluate and direct kitchen personnel
  • Communicate openly with management and associates
  • Present disciplinary action as needed
  • Provide tools and equipment for associates
  • Take immediate action on kitchen problems
  • Participate in department and kitchen meetings
  • Maintain culinary documentation like recipe cards and roast meat charts
  • Ensure high-quality food preparation and timely delivery to outlets
  • Supervise kitchen staff and sanitation associates in absence of Executive Chef
  • Submit payroll hours to Accounting Department timely
