Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory culinary role
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Proficiency in managing food costs and kitchen inventory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous supervisor responsibility is required
- Must have knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
- Must understand health department rules and regulations
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of employees and guests
- Demonstrated leadership and team motivation skills
- Experience with food cost management and inventory control
Job Duties
- Monitor quality of all food product and presentation
- Understand, implement and monitor corporate promotions in outlets
- Develop proper training and direction of departmental assistants in compliance with company standards of quality, specifications, portion control, recipes, employee relations, sanitation, etc
- Coordinate all par stock levels
- Compute daily food cost
- Coordinate and monitor all phases of Loss Prevention in kitchen areas
- Support the Executive Chef in managing culinary operations across multiple dining outlets
