  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is an asset but not required

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff
  • Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met
  • Oversee inventory management and control, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing waste
  • Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning and development
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team atmosphere
  • Manage shift schedules and delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth service flow
  • Handle catering orders and special event preparations as needed
  • Monitor food presentation and portion control to maintain consistency in dining experiences
