Job Requirements

  • Ability to work full time with flexible schedule including varied days
  • Prior experience in corporate cafeteria, corporate catering or dietary supervision preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to supervise and manage kitchen staff
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to handle customer complaints professionally
  • Must comply with sanitation and safety standards
  • Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in corporate cafeteria, corporate catering, or dietary supervision preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a kitchen or food service environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage and train hourly food service associates
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including varied days and shifts
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality food production and presentation standards

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and disciplinary actions as appropriate
  • Stores food properly following corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils
  • Cleans workstations thoroughly and keeps display equipment clean during meal service
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Explains daily menu items accurately to associates and customers
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries, tracks production, consumption and waste, informs supervisor when supplies are low
  • Performs other duties as assigned
