Job Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of experience in a supervisory kitchen role
  • Strong familiarity with Persian and/or Middle Eastern cuisine
  • Deep understanding of spices, traditional techniques, and regional flavor profiles
  • Ability to lead calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Valid Food Handler certification
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise and lead kitchen staff during service, providing strong, hands-on leadership
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, flavor balance, and plating execution
  • Train and mentor kitchen team members on techniques specific to Persian and Middle Eastern cuisine
  • Assist with scheduling, ordering, and inventory management
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety compliance
  • Oversee prep, line setup, and service execution to maintain efficiency
  • Assist in recipe development and maintain organized recipe documentation
